These models were created prior to the El Kebir and Vogt frameworks were created. They are standalone C++ programs. The particulars of the development environments used, libraries and tools used and build procedures are not known. There may be some external documentation for some of them in the directories where they are stored. They are not currently in the svn archive.
The first ABM produced by the labs was the 2D lung model by Segovia-Juarez. This has no chemicals, only macrophages and T cells. Results from this model were published in 2004.
An enhancement to the Segovia-Juarez model. Chemicals and chemical diffusion was added. It uses the FTCS diffusion, but ony does one diffusion iteration per 10 minute time step, instead of 100. The 2D lung model and 3D lung models are the successors to this model.
This has no chemicals, only T cells and dendritic cells.
